Libélula (in english "Dragonfly"). Laura first saw the Larimar as a child while walking in a town called Barahona, which is the only deposit of this stone in the world.
There she observed dragonflies on the banks of the crystal clear waters of the Bahoruco River. When Laura had the opportunity to create the first jewelry in 2004, she did not doubt for a second that it would be a silver-framed Larimar Dragonfly. With this product began the Libelula collection, in which the designer exquisitely combines natural stones, materials with precious metals.
Sales grew rapidly and today Laura Tosato brand is known far beyond the Dominican Republic.
