We will be transported in one of our qualified buses to the cultural and gastronomic center "TAINO GOURMET". In our first stop, when we enter, we will smell the chocolate, coffee and roots of the mamajuana. We will make an interesting journey through the history of chocolate and Dominican coffee, its origins, its evolution and its production processes. We will experience the delicious aroma and flavor of coffee through various tastings depending on the types of roasts we use. Ummm! all a pleasure that will spread through each cell of our body filling it with energy and vitality.
Afterwards, we will taste the famous Mamajuana drink, a powerful elixir that tops the list of the country's legendary drinks and that keeps the secret of Creole happiness and good health. Dominican Republic is the product of crossbreeding of races, cuisine, culture, languages and regions. You will learn how it is composed and what are the steps for a perfect preparation. This rich ¨soup¨ of flavors and ingredients, was cooked in the cauldron of Caribbean history for more than 500 years, and you will be the protagonist in experiencing each of those ingredients, in the unique cultural and gastronomic center "TAINO GOURMET"
Thus we continue our journey until we reach our third stop, our great room with the largest variety of categories ranging from cosmetics, crafts, coffee, chocolate, Rums, souvenirs, among others.
From the outset we will find our Jewelry area, famous for having excellent lines of artists worked on the basis of the unique and incomparable Larimar stone. There, in addition to seeing any number of beauties forged by notable Dominican goldsmiths and jewelers, we will know the beautiful history of the stone according to the legend that has passed from generation to generation. All the types and varieties that we can find according to the type of mineral coloration that compose it. You can see the result with your own eyes. Unique pieces mixed with gold, silver, blue amber, raw amber with which you can show off to your friends. You will learn how each of these jewels is associated with protective, healing properties until they are in possession for luck and love.
Then you can visit our Tobacco Shop, our area dedicated solely to tobacco, where you will find the best national and international brands and styles. You will witness its history and its origin according to the country of origin. You will see up close the process of assembling our own brand TAINO cigars from the hand of our expert tobacco masters, and to make it even better, you can taste with them our wide variety made at home.
But tasting a good cigar like this could not reach its maximum level if it is not accompanied by an excellent Rum. For this reason we invite you to our tasting station where you can taste all our select line of spirits.
To close our tour we will invite you to visit our cafeteria. After so many unique flavors, perhaps you will be encouraged to sit in our spaces and enjoy a delicious cappuccino coffee, a refreshing natural juice and perhaps even your eyes will fall in love with one of our desserts or hot breads.
