BARCELÓ
The story of Barceló rum begins with the dream of Julian Barcelo; a 25-year-old Spaniard whose goal was to make the best rum in the world.
Inspired by this idea, he arrived in Santo Domingo in 1929 and founded Barceló & Co, thereby starting the production of his first Rum, which were distributed throughout the Dominican Republic.
However, only in 1950 after various experiments did run production reach a very high level, as a result of which new types of rum Barceló Blanco and Barceló Dorado appeared.
This was only the beginning, after about 20 years was produced a new liquor made from the best sugarcane Rum Barceló Añejo.
From 1974 to the present, the Barceló brand has spawned different, but high-quality rums, and it is this quality that causes great reception in more than 50 countries.
The collection of the Barceló trademark opens to consumers a solid list of alcohol that can charm from the very first sip of tasting. Each blend pleases with its versatility and gastronomic indicators, which are difficult to compare with any analogues on the market. It was this factor that made the company a leader in the production and sale of rum.
